True Client/Server or Stand-Alone: One design provides a full relational database in both modes.

Client/Server: Data maintained at a central location (server) is accessed from clients located throughout the school district. In this mode, access is possible from the Internet with the appropriate passwords.

Stand-Alone: Database and structure residing on one machine can be accessed only from this location. However, there are no system or data modifications required to convert from stand-alone to client/server applications.

Data Entry and Control

Single Entry Point for All Information

Powerful, easy-to-use database minimizes errors and provides for data entry at the point where the primary action occurs.

Full Control Viewable/Modifiable Data

Database administrator can limit access to modules and control whether information can be entered and modified, or only viewed, analyzed and printed. Some staff may be designated to access all students, while individual schools can be set to access only their students.

State and Federal Compliance

Annual system updates provided for mandated information requirements of federal and state agencies. Software flexibility makes it easy to implement user-requested features and modification up to four times per year.

Year-End Updates: All students can be moved up to next year's school and grade with options provided for backing up graduates' data and summarizing last year's attendance. The Transportation module enables pre-assignment of new buses for students progressing to a different school location.
