K-12 HostLink Overview

HostLink is a separate module product developed by K-12 to allow Districts to synchronize student information from District-wide information systems, including PowerSchool, SASI, Starbase, Tenex and others to RoundUp.

HostLink employs your primary student information systems investment while maintaining consistency of data used for registration and student tracking. On a record by record basis, Administrators can resolve discrepancies in student, family/guardian and local area information with a single click. HostLink will reduce redundant data entries and reduce common errors created by manual data entry such as street address misspellings or inconsistent abbreviations that result in multiple entries for individuals. HostLink searches data fields in your legacy systems and correctly matches to those produced in RoundUp. The Administrator decides the frequency of synchronizations.

K-12 HostLink is a that provides System Administrators with a way to:
  • Synchronize data from your District’s primary student database to RoundUp
  • Eliminate costly, time-intensive manual data exchange and update between systems
  • Reduce data errors common to multiple information systems
  • Secure the validity of data stored locally for government regulatory reporting
